Save Our Seas

UK Water Companies poured raw sewage into our seas and rivers 372,533 times - YES 372,533 TIMES - in the last year!  It is not just a danger to public health but in an area like Thanet where tourism is a crucially important part of the economy it spell doom to businesses and livelihoods. It is a national scandal but Environment Secretary Therese Coffey is reportedly backing away from plans to hit water companies with fines of up to £250 million for spilling sewage into rivers and seas.
